Street Rhythm

“Laying in my bed in Washington;
listening to the City down below.
The movement of the early morning traffic; the rhythm and its flow.
The rumble of the train;
the gentle falling rain.
The whistle and the horn;
my early morning alarm.
With its distance from afar,
it sounds like the Shofar.
The rumble of the track,
it brings the workers back.
The sounds,
the beeps,
the  voices on the street;
the rhythm of the music,
makes my trip complete.”

    1. Yes! Left yesterday, now up in Amish country near Lancaster, PA. Visiting relatives. SO much to see and do in Washington! We really enjoyed ourselves! Walked until we dropped!! Thank you for asking:)
