Photo101 – Day 7 – BIG

From the city of BIG, the Washington Monument. A ladder to the heavens!

“From the top of the Washington Monument, each visitor is treated to an unequal view of the city of Washington. Visibility can be over 40 miles on a clear day from the tallest structure in the city.” Quote from “Washington, DC” by Impact Photography
“…there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached the heaven.” Genesis 28:12 (ESV)

  1. Love your DC pictures! I would drive by these places all the time and eventually stopped ‘seeing’ them as I focused on the bad traffic of the day. Hope you had a good trip and that it wasn’t too hot! Thanks for the ‘follow’ as well. I would love to learn Hebrew one of these days, maybe I’ll start with your book 🙂
    Cheers and blessings,

    1. Thank you Mary:) We had a wonderful time! There the week between the two HOT weeks! When we ordered jackets for my husband and son to take…just in case, they seemed fairly heavy. We took them and figured God knew:) Yes, the first day was super cool and damp! We were SO thankful and enjoyed the cooler weather! “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord:) ” Jeremiah 29:11. We giggled the whole time:) So much to see. Plan on going back for more:) Thanks on the follow:) Check out my “categories’ Hebrew Alef-Tav. more an understanding in word pictures then language. I love ” hearing ” through the word pictures:) Blessings to you too! Denise
