Did you see the boy David?

“Mr. Rock Badger

What do you know?

Did you see the boy

David

of so long ago?

His staff in the field,

His lambs gathered round,

Grazing from here

A distance from town.

2016-01-12 Field David

Did he lay in this place

Covered in grace,

Gazing above

Writing songs

Of his love?

Did the stars in their zeal,

Help the boy to conceal,

His sheep by the gate

From the lion in wait?

Shepherds would keep their sheep safe at night in a cave. The entrance is known as the "gate".

Did the bear pass on by

With fear in his eye,

For he knew the boy

David

Was anointed from High?

Mr. Rock Badger

What do you know?

Did you see the boy

King

Pass this way long ago?”

“Jesus used this illustration…

I tell you the truth,

I am the gate for the sheep…

Those who come in through Me

will be saved.

They will come and go freely

and will find good pastures.”

John 10:6-10 (NLT)

  1. Natalie, if you are looking on your phone or tablet, do you see the first picture of the rock badger? I have it as the “sticky” but I will be darn, when I went looking on my phone to be sure, I don’t see it! Makes me crazy…
