“What is a “burden,”
and what is a “care”?
Show me,
Lord,
the difference there.
First Mention in Scripture for “burden”.
“…couching down between two burdens.”
Genesis 49:14 KJV
The “difference”,
Lord,
that I see,
Is one is done in praise
“Cast your burden on the LORD,
And He will sustain you.” Psalm 55:22(ESV)
And one upon the knees.
“…casting all your care upon Him,
For He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
Blessings dear friends and neighbors:)
It’s Friday!

Thank you Knittingwithheart:) Once the letter “pictures” settle in the heart, the Scriptures have become so clear. “Seeing” and hearing the beauty of each “row”:) blessings, denise

It actually makes sense to “visualize” the letter’s meaning, since that’d be how the language formed in the first place… Very interesting! 🙂 ♥ ❤ Jackie

Dear One,
Interesting blog and interesting question. The scripture ‘Take my yoke upon you and learn for Me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls’ My yoke is easy and my burden is light.’ Matt 11, 29 and 30.(the key words are TAKE, LEARN, FIND), Praise God when life weighs us down let HIM help carry the load. 1Peter 5:7
‘Cast you cares upon Him for He cares for you.’ Cares perhaps are the lighter still intense but not grinding us into the ground (like burdens)…..Stuff of life…….the key word here is CAST. Yippee! here they go worries, finances, daily nuisances, grumpiness, etc etc etc etc. out they go on the wind. He cares for Me. I will simply love Him and continue to flow. I see a big difference between burdens and cares. Thank you for blog. Love F.

Thank you Susan:) I was thinking yesterday about the letter. God is SO gracious, this “praise” letter is both on the “knees” and “standing” because HE knows not everyone can get “down” on their knees in the natural! He knows our “weak knees”:)
