The “Trust” of Romantic Love– Hugs

Hearts and Love fill the air in Elementary this week. I would like to share a few “Writing Prompts” written by Fifth grade students. Generally in the age of eleven, about to turn twelve this year.

Their words describing “Romantic Love” touched my heart.   When reading, please keep in mind, only one is written from a child’s view who has both father and mother continuously in their house and lives; each articulated “romantic love” beautifully.  Proud of each of them:)

Romantic Love  – Writing Prompt #1

“What I think love is about. This is going to be based on my grandmother and grandfather they have been married for forty-six years that’s a long time to me. They also are bestfriends. They love each other. Always helpful to each other. They still hold hands. They have strong feelings for each other. That is what I think love is about.”

Written by a Fifth Grade boy in a single parent household.

  1. Thank you so much. My Prayer and Hope is that our grandchildren see David and myself that way. So many children have little or no comprehension of the value and beauty of enduring love. Beautiful picture as well. http://www.fayeroots.com If you ever want to look there is a picture where I tried to express who I am in the full spectrum of life in 2016. Blessings to you.
