Returning to see the beauty of Jesus illuminated
through the Hebrew Alphabet word pictures
in Daniel Chapter 10.
Our next letter is the Eighth letter Chet.

Word Picture – Fence
Meaning: – inner-room, protection,
private, to separate, full-face
The letter looks like a fence. Can you see it?
Protection, to separate…
So how the heck does it represent the “full-face”?
Well…
If the Nineteenth letter – Koof
Is the “back of the head” of a man or person”

Word Picture: Back of the head.
Meaning: Behind, the last, to embrace a “knowing”, final
And

Word Picture: Head (of a man)
Meaning: A person, the first, the highest, in the beginning.
The Twentieth letter is the “side” view of a man or a person
Then in makes sense, “Chet” is the front view of a person.
And the person I am looking to find in Scripture is Jesus!
“…for she said to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will be made well.”
Jesus turned, and seeing her He said,
“Take heart, daughter, your faith has made you well.” Matthew 9:21-22
Jesus turned and she saw His full-face.
Jumping into the 8th verse in Daniel…what did Daniel see?
Daniel retelling his story in Chapter 10…“So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength. Daniel Chapter 10: verse 8
Daniel saw the face of Jesus – private vision, full face of Jesus.

Inner-room,
private, full-face vision of Jesus!
In Scripture,
Protection – Eight people were saved aboard Noah’s Ark.
Covenant – Jesus was taken up to the Temple for dedication on the eighth day.
Kingship – David, a man after God’s own heart was the Eighth son of Jesse.
Joyous – the Feast of Booths is celebrated for Eight days.
Ministry – Aaron, the high priest was called by Moses on the Eighth day of preparation.
I pray as we continue through Daniel in Chapter 10,
your eyes would be opened to see the
beauty of Jesus in Old Testament prophecy of Daniel.
blessings,
denise
Hi! I just found your blog and am loving it. While I agree that Daniel had a vision of Jesus, I’m not sure how you got a meaning of “full face” for chet. I’m not understanding how it is connected to kuf and resh. 🙂

Hello Robin😊 Thank you for stopping by and your question. I have actually been thinking I should finish the Daniel posts as I never completed. When I see the Chet letter which looks like the letter “n”(I am on my phone) it occurred to me that if there are letters that symbolize or depict the “side” of a man’s face and Koof (the one that looks like a “p”) which depicts the “back of the head”, then the “n” would be the picture of looking at a man straight on. His full face. Often when I am looking at the Hebrew letters of a word I see Jesus looking right back at me as it were. I have found the best way to understand the letters or “see” them is to see them from a child’s view who can not read but can understand a picture. The “ox” horns of Alef. The little “tent” or “house” of Bet. Just nice and easy pictures. Again, thank you for your comments. You have encouraged me to push forward and share what I “see” in Hebrew letters. There is a chart up in the Menu bar👍 Blessings, Denise

Love it thank you. I love studying the Hebrew. I have a blog on WordPress called it is finished. I started it with posts on the Hebrew months. As of late (the past 2 years) its evolved into more posts about the finished work of Jesus. Because the more I looked at the Hebrew language the more I too saw Jesus looking right back at me and saying “it is finished.” Looking forward to reading more of your posts.

At first when following I tried so hard to learn and remember the letters and realized and accepted I could not. But your wonderful love of Jesus and sharing the story is broken down so wonderfully by those letters. It’s so refreshing to read and understand Daniel presented this way. Thank you Denise for sharing your great gift. Ive been remolded by the potter for a new season of life.

oh my goodness, Denise, this is so wonderfully amazing…and opens to me a whole new understanding of Jesus saying, “I am the door…and if anyone enters in, he shall go in and out and enjoy safe pasture…” John 10: 9-16.

Isn’t it wonderful:) If everything is made through Him, in Him and by Him, surely the letters of His language are a reflection of Him:) I mulled this one for awhile because it is such a special letter. Walking tonight, thinking about how to explain, He opened my eyes to see the “fence” and gates right before me! Resting in Him!! Thank you for your encouragement and eyes to see:) blessings Susan!

It truly is! I am utterly wow’d by this exploration with you of the Hebrew letters, Denise… and I am awed by the rich depth of meaning hidden within each letter. Each is like a multi-faceted gemstone…and how happy I am God has given you such a love for and insight into this ‘treasure house’ to help others ‘dig deeper’… 😀
