Staff in Hand

“To travel once more to the Holy Land.

Walking the dirt; staff in hand.

Mind prepared, and heart in shape;

Take us again to the Jaffa Gate!”

“They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion,

And they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord…

The young women rejoice in the dance,

And the young men and the old shall be merry.”

Jeremiah 31:12:13 (ESV)

  1. Your pictures and posts sure make it seem so inviting! Hubby hates flying. Right now, we’re hoping to see the USA and Canada….but who knows what God has in store for our future!

    1. This trip was at the end of February 2011. The weather was beautiful for the 11 day journey; rain and cold one day in the north, Galilee area. We headed up to Mount Hermon that day. Regardless, we found favor and delight in pockets of rain breaks, and to experience His awesome wonder in the wind that gathered our group closer together for warmth and friendship:) The photo, taken the last day in Jerusalem, was cold and windy. Probably in the high 50 to mid 60’s. We didn’t care one bit!! It was awesome to be in such a exotic place filled with sights, sounds and promises of God:) bless you as you press in to your destiny and purpose. May you be bless abundantly!!

    1. Wilma called yesterday. She, husband and their two close traveling friends depart on Sunday for 15 days! When she returns we learn if her health allows for the endurance of the trip to return again with a small group! This news coming on Passover is a wonderful “hope” for the future!! Whooohooo, I will keep you posted!! Last trip, 2 elderly women, from Canada, met us for the trip:) just saying:):):)
