“Good Cheer!”
Depression taunts and
Calls me near.
Jesus knows,
He understands.
This is why He was
Born of man.
He came to earth,
To set you free.

Death has lost
Its hold on me.
Now there’s the
“Good News!”
For all men.
Jesus died, and
Rose Again!!
“For us a child is born,
To us a Son is given…
And His Name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.”

(Which means, God with us.)

Thank you friend. While I was reading your Haiku poem last night, I hit the tag for “poetry” and the world opened up. I then saw posts from those who are broken and looking for healing in their words. I would never push but Jesus woke me with words to pen. He continues to reach out today.
