Healing came through The Door when Jesus entered Peter’s house.

After leaving the synagogue on Sabbath, Jesus’ path took Him right to Peter’s mother-in-law in her time of need. Jesus reached out His hand, “and lifted her up”, and “immediately the fever left her.”(Mark 1:31)

Peter’s house is located within a short walking distance of the synagogue.

Fearlessinjesuschrist, what He does for one of His children, He will joyfully do for His others! I never even knew I wanted to make a trip to Israel like this! One summer I spent a lot of time reading about all the places Jesus walked at the Sea of Galilee. This stirred a desire in my heart, and the next thing I knew, Jesus invited me to make the journey! He is an Amazing Friend, Teacher and Savior of my soul! Amazing Grace! blessings friend!

Amen! My pastor and his wife just came back from a trip to Israel. This was my pastors second time and his wife’s first time. At some point they’re going to share some pictures. I can’t wait! And by the way, my name is Jo Ann.

Hello Jo Ann! Nice to meet you Sister in Christ! I am believing with you the door will open for you! I was always amazed when I heard of people who have taken the trip several times. Once there, it is easy to understand. The Jewish people say, “Next year in Jerusalem”. Yes, I am believing with you! God bless you Joann! denise

I remember our guide pointing out something I had not thought about. And that it is likely Jesus lived there whenever he stayed any time in the City. Do you remember when He went and ministered to Peter’s sick mother? As Moshe our guide pointed out, only a male considered a trusted member of a household would have been allowed in the women’s part of the house.
If you don’t mind, here is the link to the post I wrote on Capernaum during our visit

Thank you Wally for the link! I will check it out! One cannot to help but write to share with others all the “little” things the guides teach on a journey to the Holy Land. The Bible truly comes alive and our understanding deepens. Thank you again for your encouragement. We get to pilgrimage together right here in our own hometowns!! blessings, denise
