Summer Came to Stay

“Fall may be here,

But summer’s temps are near.

Reminding us this day,

Of when summer came to stay.”

“As a deer pants for flowing streams…” Psalm 42:1

  1. Wow, this is the 1st time I saw a picture of deer from a fellow blogger and what a beautiful picture too ! The lines are nicely creating the summer feel… makes me yearn for it too…. 🙂

    1. Thank you so very much Lynn:) I find on days when I don’t post or have time to sit and enjoy others posts because of “life”, my day is missing my WordPress friends and neighbors. Your kind and encouraging comments remind me again of who and why I feel this way:) Thank you my friend you are a blessing:)

    1. Thank you Susan. Somehow I see you living in the country, or wide open places for all the beautiful words and post you are inspired to share. These friends of mine come through in the morning hours, and I always feel blessed when I have the opportunity to view their quiet and peaceful ways. Blessings friend:)

  2. Beautiful and affirming. We must be experiencing the same sort of temps. Summer has come in early and our Spring has been swamped up by it this year. Keep holding the Hand of the One who loves you best. xx

    1. My family and I enjoy watching the deer. This Momma has three little ones she cares for. I have never seen a deer with three fawns, but even when they were very young, the three were always with her. They are losing their white spots now. We don’t allow hunting on our property and one can tell they feel fairly safe here. Thank you for stopping by and visiting. Yes, I worry when they cross the road too; not only for them, but for any oncoming car or truck. Blessings and safety of travel!! denise
