In Stillness

“There’s no comfort in this world.

No place to lay one’s head.

Foxes surround the vineyard;

Confusion stirs up dread.

But Peace resides in stillness,

Waiting to speak to me.

Open up the Word

‘Be still’ and ‘Follow Me.’”

“O my Dove, in the cleft of the Rock,

In the secret places of the cliff.

Let me see Your Face,

Let me hear Your Voice,

For Your Voice is sweet,

And Your Face is Lovely.”

Song of Solomon 2:14 (NKJV)

“Be still, and know

I AM God.” Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

    1. Faye, do not quench the Spirit of God moving:) Your response was lovely! I am truly excited for the Kingdom work God is doing through you and your ear to hear and be still. We have been friends long enough, that I in the natural, know you give all glory to God, how much more the Lord Himself knows and is excited and pleased with you! The angels in heaven rejoice knowing His Peace will comfort those who reach over and pick up one of your books!! Embrace all He is doing in your life, for we know “with God nothing is impossible!” Blessings, your friend Denise.

  2. A-men and A-men. What a time on the earth for my Meditations Book PEACE to be streaming. My prayer is that wherever this can be shared or placed ie Nursing Homes, Crisis Centres, Breast Cancer consulting rooms etc etc lives will be touched and comforted. Be Still and Know that I am God…….the words He spoke to me when I took the picture that is now on the cover page of this book.(everyone else was photographing people, buildings etc and rushing around with mobile phone etc. Praise God! I stopped. He spoke. Thank you for your blog and words, dear Denise. (Ps Amazon has this book of mine….ie His……. and it is on I-pad and E-pad)
