The Step Out

It occurred to me

(as I sat next to my “permit” card carrying son who was seated at the wheel of the car)

the most dangerous part of the journey is the first step.

Once he decided to step on the gas and venture out on to the road, we were on our way!

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
And He delights in his way.” Psalm 37:23 NKJV

  1. ABSOLUTE truth. The First step in any aspect of life is the hardest. Prayers started in the carport when our son first got behind the wheel. I was terrified for his handling of our very rough and dangerous hill. (I can do it!) did not allay the terror in my heart….(Only God!). Thank you Denise for blog.

    1. Thank you for sharing Faye:) He is long overdue in driving. We have property here and he drives around the property, but never really interested in going out on his own. I think my working at the school and we drove back and forth together or he enjoyed hoping a ride home with one of his friends didn’t help the matter! Lol All in God’s timing…and much, much prayer!! Blessings as you close out your day!
