“Would I give it all up for a night with
The King?
Would I leave house and home, and
Risk everything?
Would the “oil of gladness”
Be my morning song?
The sweet fragrance of myrrh
Carry me along?
But what if I stayed home safe on the couch?
No love song of joy, or
Hope in my mouth?
Bitter would cover the
Vision to see
His goodness and grace
Pursuing after me.
Drawing my heart and
Fulfilling my days;
Would I give it all up
For a night in His Ways?
Trusting in you Lord, my
Heart I do bring;
Yes, I’ll give it all up
For a night with the King!”
“Your eyes will behold
The King in His beauty.”
Isaiah 33:17 NKJV

Beautiful. Are you aware of how much you have reflected the longing for the Bride for the coming of the Bridegroom?. In these days of rising secularism, anti-God humanism and denigration by political-correctness of what is Holy and Pure. The Body of Christ – the Church – pockets of passionate believers around this world (the Bride) are finding in their hearts this longing for the Bridegroom to come and take His Bride way. Every Advent Season it rises more deeply and worshipfully. This longing for the ONE to satisfy our deepest soul’s yearnings. Beautifully expressed by you in this post. Photos are stunning.
