She asked again, “What do you seek?”

As the countdown to a real life journey next week to Jerusalem,

May I share the desire of what I seek in the new year 2018.

May you each be blessed in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ as we continue to purse and be sought by Him.

 

She asked again,

“What do you seek?”

 

“I seek a trust,

As between a

Husband and wife.

The maturity to stand firm

Amidst the chaos of life.

 

The desire to blush,

As a new, young bride,

Listening as my Bridegroom

Whispers by my side.

 

Faith that doesn’t question,

And doubt

Every time I hear the enemy going about.

Confidence to know,

You’ll work it all out for my good;

Even when I’m wrong or I’ve misunderstood.

 

May I seek to know

More of Your ways.

Faith to depend

Only

In Your Faithfulness

During the darkest of days.

For in You,

Christ Jesus,

Is the fullness of Life.

For I am blessed to know,

You call me

Your wife.”
