Walk About Zion

“There’s a kitty hiding,

Or maybe it’s two.

Poking around the corner

Peeking out at you.

“Walk about Zion”

Each they go.

Circling around her towers

In search for;

Well you know.

Turn on any corner.

Walk up narrow streets.

You’re sure to find a kitty

In every place we meet.”

“Walk about Zion,

And go all around her.

Count her towers;

Mark well her bulwarks;

That you may tell it to the

Generation following.

Psalm 48:12:13 NKJV

  1. Beautiful poem. Something deep stirs in my heart. There is a longing in all our hearts I believe for the New Jerusalem and the streets and places you have written about in poetic form are ‘real’ Thank you.

    1. Oh, I believe that too Faye:) Once there, the heart longs to return. Like a piece of DNA in each of us. Yes, I don’t know if I will have the opportunity to travel again in this lifetime, but this I know, put my trust in, we will walk the streets of the new Jerusalem:) Thank you for your lovely comment. Blessings friend:)
