Walk don’t Race

“Don’t lose sight of the vision.
For with God there is no revision.
Only mercy and grace
In life’s empty place.
For His plan is a walk
And not a hopeless race.”

“Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God,
The LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary…
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might
He increases strength..
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV

  1. And I’m so thankful it is a walk and not a race because there is time for God to correct my course when I get sidetracked! Lovely post, dear Denise! Beautiful poetry accompanied by one of my favorite passages of scripture!! ❤️❤️
