Thanksgiving Joy!

…and through the wild storms of life…

Happy Thanksgiving!

Remembering His mercies are new every morning and “He remembers His covenant forever.” Psalm 105:8 NKJV

Raising a banner of thankfulness for our Country and God’s faithfulness to our Forefathers and His promise to our children.

As for my family, today we celebrate and reclaim what was lost through a wild August rain storm. My desktop computer, although not on was plugged into the electrical outlet. The forecast proclaimed sunshine for the day, but none the less, the thunder and lighting came. Striking the house and taking my desktop computer as prey.

The photograph captured is of my son walking our land in liberty and freedom to proclaim God’s Faithfulness to remember His promises and covenant forever!

Restoration and Thanksgiving today, and through the wild storms of life, to know He will not forsake or forget His promises today or forever!

May you and your families be blessed in His rest today and always.

Thankful for a place to share my heart,

Denise and family

  1. I did not say how sorry I was to hear of your loss. It must have been both stressful and very sad.
Surrounded by so much news of heartache and loss in our bushfires this Spring makes the whole issue of human suffering very real in all our lives. We are still called of God to lift our eyes above the circumstances and our Thanksgiving is always about HIM and what He has done for all of us who Believe in the Saviour.

  2. Oh, no! I had that happen, years ago. The actual destruction was from a close lightning strike that fried my modem and then my computer through the cable. It melted the motherboard into a solid piece of metal. I cried. Blessedly, my brother was able to rescue my documents folder but nothing else. I hate to think how much you lost. May God bless you with more than you lost.

    1. Thank you Judy. Yes, it was really hard to accept all the years of scanning old family pictures was gone. Ultimately replaced the desktop. Even with backing up picture files, there were many files gone. When I would get upset thinking about the loss, I kept remembering and speaking, “all things work for our good…” We are very thankful to have the pictures restored and are now moving forward to serious backup equipment for our computers. It’s a very Happy Thanksgiving here. Blessings to you and your family 🍁🍂🦃
