Wings of the Wind

“Ever so slightly

The wind begins to move.

Frozen air,

Nudging loose.

Pink of the sky

Proclaiming the news.

‘Long awaited warmth

Is about to break through!’”

“And He rode upon a cherub,

And flew;

He flew upon the

Wings of the wind.”

Psalm 18:10 NKJV

Distant Song

“The prairie night

With crafted light,

Lent its field

To the Moon revealed.

Warmth of air

We lingered there;

Softest touch held so much.

Golden view

Created by You.

Distant song;

Lone coyote sang along.”

Wells of Joy!

My cup runneth over;

Joy overflows the brim.

Sing a new song

To my Savior!

Let the year begin!

“Therefore with joy

You will draw water

From the wells of Salvation.”

Isaiah 12:3 NKJV

“My cup runneth over.” Psalm 23:5 KJV

Silent Fog

“Lying in bed before rising,

Thinking on the silence of the day’s smog.

Resting in the mysteries on the horizon,

Soaking in the morning fog.”

“Madame Day holds classes every morning,

Professor Night lectures each evening.

Their words aren’t heard,

Their voices aren’t recorded,

But their silence fills the earth:

Unspoken truth is spoken everywhere.”

Psalm 19:2-4 (The Message)

Morning Wings

“Can I rise in time to see the sky?

Blink the blush from morning eyes?

Or will the clouds

Conceal the view

For uniquely theirs and

Only You?”

“In my distress I called upon the LORD,

And cried out to my God;

He heard my voice… and

He flew upon the wings of the wind…

He delivered me because He delighted in me.”

Psalm 18:6-19 NKJV

Song of David to the LORD on the day

He “delivered him from all his enemies and the hand of Saul.”

Calling the Heart

“What season lies ahead in December?

Calling the heart to remember?

Christmas and bells,

Sights and the smells;

All memories of gladness put together.

But centered on You,

I desire the view

Of a “Season” of ponder and praise.

For in life holds

More than silver and gold, and

The story of Love

Of the Babe from above

Bringing

Joy, Peace and Heaven forever!”

“Do not be afraid, for behold,

I bring good tiding of great joy

Which will be to all people.”

Luke 2:10 NKJV

All the Earth Sings

“Up before dawn;

Walking the lawn.

Cattle sing softly

Their morning song.”

“For every beast of the forest is Mine,

And the cattle on a thousand hills.”

Psalm 50:10 NKJV

“Praise the LORD from the earth…

Mountains and all hills;

Fruitful trees and all cedars;

Beast and all cattle…

Let them Praise the Name of the LORD!”

Psalm 148:7-1-13 NKJV

Threefold Cord

“Two are better than one,
Because they have good reward for their labor…
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9&12 NKJV

Progress a bit slower today.

Working together, and fighting the nats and not ourselves, we finished our day feeling successful and hopeful to the view ahead.

Small Beginnings

image

“For who has despised the day of small things?” Zachariah 4:10 NKJV

One day I “looked” and realized the view I once took for granted was overgrown and gone.

image

Perfect weekend to be Thankful and reclaim what was lost.

image

Tomorrow my husband, son and I continue down the fence.

It may be a “small thing”, but the view to the future and possibilities are unlimited.

May you also be inspired to begin the small things and your view of unlimited possibilities open before your heart and eyes.

Most blessed weekend,
Denise

Whisper Goodbye

“Treasures await

In the morning dawn.

Dividing the colors

Across the lawn.

In the briefest of moments,

In a twinkle of sky;

Pastels greet the sun

And whisper’s “goodbye”.”

“The God said,

“Let there be lights in the firmament

Of the heavens to divide the

Day and the night…”Genesis 1:14 NKJV

It’s Not a Race

“Continue to feed me

With Your Grace;

For it’s a walk of faith

And not a race.”

‘Look, the LORD your God

Has set the land before you;

Go up and possess it,

As the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you;

Do not fear or be discouraged.’

Deuteronomy 1:21 NKJV
