“Cats at the window
Bird’s in view.
Sunshine on the feeder,
Coffee in the brew.
Oh, I’ve enjoyed the season; rest and family time.
Open up the year LORD,
Direct my steps according to Thine.”
“Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself…”Psalm 84:3 NKJV
“…make His footsteps out pathway.” Psalm 85:13 NKJV
Enjoying the last day before heading back to work.

Long skies fill the air
Engulfed in winter’s flare.
Peaceful draws me near.
“You’re my place of quiet retreat;
I wait for Your Word to renew me.” Psalm 119:114 TM

Earth ever in a spin.
Life, death, and what could have been.
“When I thought how to understand this, it was too painful for me – until I went into the sanctuary of God.” Psalm 73:16-17 NKJV

Enlargeth my territory,
Enlighten the skies.
Wings restored of brokenness
Darkness lifted, Spirit flies.
“He fills my life with good things, so that I stay young and strong like an eagle.” Psalm 103:5

Maybe common to you,
“Lens drawn to view,
Maybe common to you.
Two-Thousand miles we moved,
Heart treasures new.”
“For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.” Psalm 50:10 NKJV

…and through the wild storms of life…
Remembering His mercies are new every morning and “He remembers His covenant forever.” Psalm 105:8 NKJV
Raising a banner of thankfulness for our Country and God’s faithfulness to our Forefathers and His promise to our children.
As for my family, today we celebrate and reclaim what was lost through a wild August rain storm. My desktop computer, although not on was plugged into the electrical outlet. The forecast proclaimed sunshine for the day, but none the less, the thunder and lighting came. Striking the house and taking my desktop computer as prey.
The photograph captured is of my son walking our land in liberty and freedom to proclaim God’s Faithfulness to remember His promises and covenant forever!
Restoration and Thanksgiving today, and through the wild storms of life, to know He will not forsake or forget His promises today or forever!
May you and your families be blessed in His rest today and always.
Thankful for a place to share my heart,
Denise and family

“Waiting on daylight, morning’s break of day. Calling all creation, Rejoice! Praise His Holy Name!
Heavens declare Your beauty, the Tabernacle of the Son. Come Oh Holy Spirit, let Your will on Earth be done.”
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork…In them He set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber.” Psalm 19:1 & 4 NJKV

“God’s glory is on tour in the skies,
God-craft on exhibit across the horizon.” Psalm 19:1 (The Message)
“I hear this most gentle whisper from One I never guessed would speak to me.” Psalm 81:5 The Message
“…feed on His faithfulness…”
My garden as been such a reflection of my life this year.
Just when I want to give up, I step outside and see fruit on the vine that was barren and long past yielding any hope for the future.
Oh my soul, wait. Yes, wait on the Lord for He will surely bring His promises and word to pass.
May this be an encouragement to all who, like me, are waiting on the Lord.
“Trust in the Lord…dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness…Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:3-6 NKJV
I find it encouraging to see there are 40 verses in Psalm 37. Forty (40) is the number for “testing” in Scripture.
“He is their strength in the time of trouble, and the LORD shall help them…and save them because they trust in Him.” Psalm 37:40 NKJV
“That you may tell it to the generation following.” Psalm 48:13 NKJV
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6 NKJV

Blessings for a safe and joyous Fourth of July!
P.S.: Had to replace my phone so I’ve been “out of pocket” as they like to say around here. Local interpretation: “not available by design or unexpected circumstances.”
