In Stillness

“There’s no comfort in this world.

No place to lay one’s head.

Foxes surround the vineyard;

Confusion stirs up dread.

But Peace resides in stillness,

Waiting to speak to me.

Open up the Word

‘Be still’ and ‘Follow Me.’”

“O my Dove, in the cleft of the Rock,

In the secret places of the cliff.

Let me see Your Face,

Let me hear Your Voice,

For Your Voice is sweet,

And Your Face is Lovely.”

Song of Solomon 2:14 (NKJV)

“Be still, and know

I AM God.” Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

Morning Dew Breezes

“It shall be in that day,

‘The tongue’ shall ‘sing’!

Open up the flood gates

For the dry lands shall burst forth in spring!

Flowers shall bloom,

Plans arise!

Purpose will take root, and

Prosper before your eyes!

Sing, oh daughters of Jerusalem,

“Do not stir up love until it pleases…”

Open your mouth wide

For singing begins on morning dew breezes.”

“I charge you,

O daughters of Jerusalem,

By the gazelles or the does of the field,

Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases.”

Song of Solomon 2:7 NKJV

“Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,

O daughters of Jerusalem!”

Zephaniah 3:14 NKJV

Love’s Intimate Wing

“In the night hour,

I hear Your voice call.

Ever gently waking me;

Adventure down the hall.

Snuggled so intimate under the

“Corner of Your wing”.

Faithful promises speak to me,

“Until the daybreak” sings.”

“Take Your maidservant under Your wing.” Ruth 3:9 NKJV

Ever so intimate…

“So she lay at His feet until morning, and she arose before one could recognized another.”

Ruth 3:14 NKJV

“Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away,

I will go my way to the mountain of myrrh.” Song of Solomon 4:6

Bridegroom’s Arms

“After the storm all fear is gone;

For I’ve learned to dance,

Resting,

In my Bridegroom’s arms.”

“Your left arm would be under my head,

And Your right arm would embrace me…

Place me like a seal over Your heart,

Like a seal on Your arm.”

Song of Solomon 8:2&6 (NLT)

Follow Your Heart

Follow the tracts...

“Follow the tracts…to the Shepherd’s tent.”

“Where do You rest Your flock?”

“Where do they lie in rest?”

Snags of dry and rock;

Endless days of test.

“If you do not know,”

Oh, most beautiful follower of Mine,

The path is right before you,

Follow your heart to Mine.”

Song of Solomon 1:7-8 (ESV)
