Like a Lamb Brought Forth

“…like a lamb that was led to slaughter…”Isaiah 53:7

The Hebrew definition of this Scripture can be translated as this:

“…like an animal, He was pushed out, brought forth with pomp, to be butchered.”

– The cost of this road is becoming far to clear. My whole being wants to turn away, hid my eyes, close my mind. To turn away now, was not an option for Jesus, the Perfect Lamb of God Who was slain for me. –

Love Stepped Forward

“The oil pressed,

Blood poured out.

Love stepped forward.

In Him,

No doubts.”

The Garden Pressed

“I thank You Lord, for the Garden;

I thank You for the press.

I thank for Your Body,

When all the others left.

I thank you for the Blood.

Drops of fear shed

One by one.

I thank You for Your staying,

When the others chose to run.

I thank You for Your Love,

Reaching out, finding me.

Redeeming from the curse,

Your Sacrifice set me free!”
