Break of Day Luminous

“The revelation-light of His Word makes my spirit shine radiant.” Psalm 19:8 TPT

The Hebrew understanding of this verse can be as this:

The break of day, luminous light of His Word causes my eyes to shine with the knowledge of His Face, and favor in life.

Praying you too may be so captivated by the Light of God’s Word and the radiance of Jesus’ Face; your eyes will shine new with understanding of His love for you by His grace!

God bless you,

Denise

“The LORD bless you and keep you;

The LORD makes His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV

Hanukkah – The Center of Grace

“And the light shines in the in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:5 NKJV

Lighting the candlestick in honor and celebration of Hanukkah through the eyes of a follower of Jesus Christ.

Admittedly, not knowing the order or the traditional way to light the Hanukkah candles, I watched a YouTube video learning the center candle is lit first and is used to light the remaining candles each night. The direction to light the candles is from right to left. This is the same way one reads Hebrew. Right to Left.

What I thought was the fifth candle on Hanukkah candlestick is in truth the center candle. The center candle holds the position of Light and Honor.

-The Light shines in darkness and illuminates the night.

Grace and Truth is in the Center and in Him all fear takes flight. –

Hanukkah – Day Three – The Fruit

“Blossoms may tarry as we wait upon the Vine,

But the fruits of His Spirit bring forth His Beauty Divine.”

Symbolic of the nine candles…Day Three reminds of me of nine fruits in Galatians 5:22

“But the fruit of the Spirit is

Love,

Joy,

Peace,

Patience,

Kindness,

Goodness,

Faithfulness,

Gentleness and

Self-Control

Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22

When I’ve been hateful and lack all joy and peace, His gentleness loves me.

When patience runs thin and kindness far gone, He is faithful and is good to me.

When I’ve lost all self-control and go off on my own, His mercy leads me to His Grace.

Against such there is no law…only the fruits of His Beauty and Grace.

Work and Purpose – Vision Direction – Part 3 of 3

“I will direct their work in truth.” Isaiah 61:8 NKJV

 Photography.

How could I have forgotten four years of photography vocational training taken in high school?

Heck, before everyone was carrying cell phones, taking pictures, and the now famous“selfie” my friends would cringe when out from my pocket the camera would come to capture a moment in time.

“Therefore in their land they shall possess double;

Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” Isaiah 61:7 NKJV

His Word is Truth, His Promises true.

Eighteen years from our “spirit of heaviness” the loss of not a building, but a lifetime collection of memories and the empty space as a daily reminder, suddenly the “oil of joy” washed over us with new life and purpose.

I share my heart and story of restoration to encourage and give you hope in your areas of loss and ashes.

“For as the earth brings forth its bud,

“As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,

So the Lord God….”  Isaiah 61:11 NKJV

Will “give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

Oil of Joy – Restoration – Part 2 of 3

“The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…” Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

Eighteen years after fire

Consuming the Tac Barn, temporarily storing our lifetime of family memories, my family and I began to reclaim the overgrown horse pen.

2017

 Working side by side, we bonded with the land and appreciation for the opportunity to do so.

Never realizing we were moving in a new path of restoration.

Through no will or action on our own, a friend asked if we would be interested in a little building she used as a small office. Yes, we were interested, but with a son heading to college, purchasing was not in the plans.

Friends moved the little building with excitement and joy of helping.

Grace, pure Grace. No purchase required.

Completely gifted, and in God’s beauty of Restoration, it fit PERFECTLY on the fire marred cement slap where the original Tac barn once stood.

Did God have a plan for this new building?

Friends came to help establish God’s plan.

While we were cleaning up and  marveling in what was happening before our eyes, a “Vision” was beginning to be birth in my heart.

Beauty for Ashes – Part 1 of 3

“To give them beauty for ashes…”Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

Precious lifetime treasures temporarily stored between leather saddles and horse gear gone.

Fire consumed it all; ashes.

That was in 1999. One year after our very premature son was born. (1# 12 oz.). We were just beginning to get on our feet again.

We never expected to be hit in the stomach with another punch.

“And they shall rebuild the old ruins,

They shall raise up the former desolations…” Isaiah 61:4 NKJV

2016 Horse pen area.

Eighteen years later, my son and I began to clean up and clear out the old horse pen area.

1996

2017

Little did we know, we would see God’s restoration begin to unfold before our eyes.

It’s Not a Race

“Continue to feed me

With Your Grace;

For it’s a walk of faith

And not a race.”

‘Look, the LORD your God

Has set the land before you;

Go up and possess it,

As the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you;

Do not fear or be discouraged.’

Deuteronomy 1:21 NKJV

Beginning of Grace

“I will stand at my guard post and

Station myself on the

Lookout tower.

I will

Watch and

See what

He will say to me.”

Habakkuk 2:1 NKJV

‘Returning me

To the beginning

Of my season

Of learning about

His Son’s marvelous

Grace.

Instead of my punishment,

Jesus took my place.’

Trusting View

“Often times the words

Flow freely from the pencil lead.

Speaking of Your promises;

Void of fear and dread.

But then there is no

“Picture” or

Clear “Visual” to share;

Remaining on the paper

Concealed forever there.

But isn’t this the same

Of what You’ve called our lives to do?

Walking by Your Faithfulness,

Trusting in Your View.”

“For we walk by faith,

Not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

Grace, Grace to it!

“I couldn’t bring myself to do it;

Although the pieces were all in place.

Then I remembered what He spoke to me,

Not by “might or power”,

But by His Holy Grace!”

“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’

Says the LORD of Hosts.

‘Who are you, O great mountain?

Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!

And he shall bring forth the capstone

With shouts of Grace, Grace to it!”’”

Zechariah 4:6-7 (NKJV)

Holds of Grace

“The very thing that holds you in place,

He finished in Love by His Saving Grace.”

“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul,

A hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain,

Where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf…” Hebrews 6:19 (ESV)
