“Put on your sandals, your new hat too.

I AM about to change your thinking,

And make your address new.

So don’t walk about discouraged,

Covered in shades of blue.

Trust in Me,

I have good plans for you.

Stay away from man’s bread of sorrow,

Eating up your today, and worrying about tomorrow.

Your blessings are here, and in this hour.

Embrace this “season” of new,

For I have equipped you.

Not by your will or strength, but by

My Love and Power!”

After much Word and prayer, my Jesus has led me here. Embracing a new “season” where in the “natural” makes no sense or reason. But this I know is sure, listening to His Voice, I am embracing a new open door.

Thank you WordPress friend for always welcoming back my pen.

Daniel – The Right Hand of Favor – Yood

“And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.” Daniel 10: Verse 10

This was the verse that opened my eyes to see the Hebrew letters.

“a hand touched me…”

Yood - 10th letter Word Picture: Closed (right) hand Meaning: Work, a deed, to make, effort
Yood – 10th letter
Word Picture: Closed (right) hand
Meaning: Work, a deed, to make, effort

Yood – Is the smallest of the Hebrew letters but very significant.

It can represent:

“the hand of God”

“the work of God”

“the favor of God by His hand”

Jesus spoke,

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.” Matthew Chapter 10:29

DSCN2975

Matthew Chapter 10 – Ten

Nothing is insignificant to the Father. So much so, Jesus also said,

“For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Matthew 5:18

He was speaking about the letter Yood.

It’s numerical value is 10. The number 10 represents order:

The Ten Commandments

The 10 generations of Adam to Noah.

God delivered Israel by the 10 plagues.

A minyan (a group of 10 men) is required for prayer in the synagogue.

“And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.”

Daniel had the “hand of God” lift him up.

God gave Daniel favor – Daniel 1:9

Yood is the right hand – or the hand of favor, by lifting Daniel up.

God was “working” on Daniel’s behalf.

“Strength and comfort commonly come by degrees to those that have been long cast down and disquieted; they are first helped up a little, and then more. After two days he will review us, and then the third day he will raise us up. And we must not despise the day of small things, but be thankful for the beginning of mercy.” quote by Matthew Henry

God does not,

despise our small frames,

or trembling knees.

He extends His hand of

love and favor.

Picking us up from despair;

depression;

sickness;

loneliness;

and with His mighty

right hand works on our behalf!

And like the “Feature photo” of a tambourine depicting Miriam, the sister of Aaron, who took a tambourine in her hand, went out (with all the women) singing and dancing after the LORD, Who (with a Mighty hand) brought back the waters of the Sea.

Delivering the people from the ten plagues and bondage. Exodus 15:19

“On the days when I feel small,

Fighting the battle on my own.

I remember,

You are my Deliverer;

With Mighty Closed Hand of

Yood!”

Whom is This? – Daniel “AND” the 6th letter Vav

Continuing with Daniel…

Daniel begins to describe Jesusjoining or securing the pieces together of what he saw.

“His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.” Daniel 10: Verse 6.

Vav - 6th Hebrew letter Word picture - nail, peg, or spike Meaning: joined, to secure, safety, to add, protection. Can you see the "nail" or "spike"?

Vav – 6th Hebrew letter
Word picture – nail, peg, or spike
Meaning: joined, to secure, safety, to add, protection.
Can you see the “nail” or “spike”?

Six (6) is commonly denoted for the number of man.

On the sixth day man was created.

Man has six (6) motions: forward, backward, left, right, up, and down.

Daniel was seeing Jesus in His “man” identity.

Daniel description of Jesus is also seen in Revelations 1:12-15.

“his body like the beryl, a precious stone of a sky-colour…His voice was loud and strong – the voice of God can over power the voice of people.” Quote by Matthew Henry

Isaiah speaking of Jesus:

“And I will fasten Him like a peg in a secure place, and He will become a throne of honor to His Father’s house.” Isaiah 22:23

Jesus hands and feet were pierced with “nails” thereby securing for us a place in His Father’s house. Amen!

“Then Jesus said… “Put your finger here, and see My hands; and put out your hand, and place in My side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” John 20:27

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Red Flowers

Field of red “buttercup” Anemone flowers on hillside in Israel

In an effort to “lighten up”

and have more “fun“,

RED Flower photo was captured

on a hillside looking towards Nazareth in

Israel on my first trip 2011.

As is my nature, went looking for the

name Anemone in Hebrew.

Found “Anem”two fountains.

A town in Issachar. Scripture (1Chron6:73) noted.

Yep, “…and Anem with it’s pasturelands.” 1Chron6:73

Anem – Hebrew Word #6046 – Anem (aw-name’)

meaning “two fountains”

from root Word #5869

(I love looking for the “Root” word!)

#5869 – “ayin” (ay-yin) definition:

analogy a fountain (as the eye of the landscape).

Hebrew 3 letters root pictures are:

Ayin for eye;

Yood for closed hand or “work”; (Generally refers to God’s hand)

Noon for fish or “life activity”.

In the context speaking to my heart –

The eye to see, the work of God’s, life activity!

Beautiful RED Anemone flowers!

Double fountain – seeing with my eyes

and believing in my heart,

“And God said, Let the earth

sprout vegetation, plants, yielding seed…

and God saw that it was good.”

Genesis 1:11-12 ESV

Thank you Cee’s Foto Challenge.

This was “good!”

The Fire to Turn the Heart

My Dad and I
My Dad and I

“And he will turn the hearts of the fathers

to their children and the hearts of the children

to their fathers…” Malachi 4:16 (ESV)

I’m perplexed, daily,

by this last verse in the Old Testament.

“…to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children…”

How is this accomplished Lord?

I was blessed with a wonderful earthly father

whose heart was always

turned toward me.

Even when I needed a beating

for making a wrong choice or

heading down the path of destruction.

In his love and attention,

I always knew his heart was for me.

His life choices reflected this truth

I felt it in my heart.

2015-12-19 Hearts turned - door

Daily I see,

Children who once came through

the open school door

happy and smiling.

Now enter,

as dead men,

with rattling chains

and bones.

When a passing smile in the hallway,

brought joy and a smile in return from theirs.

Now, a trip to the Office for a “belly ache”

and a tear of truth no band aide,

or remedy can cure.

“He will turn the father’s hearts to the children.”

Lord, we need Your Holy Spirit more and more.

Draw them Lord,

Lead them home,

Fetch their wandering eyes,

And bring their fathers home.

The hearts of Your children are broken.

Sadden by the choices their parents do make.

In this season of joy and gladness,

You are the Miracle it takes!

No hug or smile will bind the wounds

Too deep to aide or cover.

Lord, I’m asking You restore,

Repair,

and return their parents,

One to Love each other.

May Your Holy Spirit burn brighter

Than any Christmas tree,

As You heal the hearts of

Your children, and

Return their fathers

To Thee.”

Come home

New Testament Scripture Truth: (Same Scripture as Malachi 4:16)

“And he (speaking John his name means Grace in Hebrew)

…and he will go before Him (speaking of Jesus) in the

Spirit and power of Elijah (Grace)

To turn the hearts of the fathers to

The children…”Luke 1:16-17 (ESV)

John’s first words to the people,

“I baptize you with water,

but He Who is mightier than I is coming

…He will baptizing you

Life truth:

It takes the Grace of Christ,

And the Power of His Holy Spirit

To “turn” and change the

Hearts of men and women

To their children.

Jesus is the Miracle

Of this Season,

The Light, Truth and Power

Beyond ALL of man’s reason!

God bless and may there be

Joy, healing and

Restoration

as

Hearts “turn” to the

Father.

In Jesus Name.

The Wonder of His Complete Simplicity

The Wonder of His Simplicity
The Wonder of His Complete Simplicity

My friend texted

last night.

 A few years back,

we prayed together,

asking

the Lord to move

and work in a

specific area in her life.

In His timing,

with no fanfare

or headline news,

He has opened

the door

for us to see

this request

brought to fruition.

In complete awe, and

amazement

of God’s hand, and

His willingness to

Hear and

Answer

the following words

were penned in my

morning prayer.

 “Lord, You are

not about

Publicity.

You are about

Simplicity.

Going about

and doing

good

to those

Who need

a touch from You.

A miracle of

Healing.

A Word of

Comfort too.

You are

EXTRAVAGANTLY

WONDERFUL

And I worship

You!”

Poem by denisebalog

As is my nature,

I went looking to see if the word,

“simplicity”

Is found in the Concordance.

Yes, what a surprise

and more amazing,

its definition!

“Simplicity – #8537 – tom (tome) (Strong’s Concordance)

“A masculine noun meaning – completeness, integrity – full, integrity,

Perfect, simplicity, upright.

See #8550 – Tummiym – perfections…one of the epithets

of the objects in

as an Emblem

of complete Truth – Thummim.”

The high-priest breastplate.
The high-priest breastplate.

I encourage you to

Continue to pray.

Trusting,

in His

Simplicity

to answer

In

Completeness,

Fullness,

Integrity,

And Truth!

In Jesus Name,

Amen!

Not All Poems, and Pros in Quietness

It’s not all poems and pros each morning.

This is how the Word strengthens

and encourages me for the coming day.

I pray you would be blessed,

and encouraged in His

surrounding quietness

and peace.

This morning I struggled

to find my way to the coffee

and peace in the day.

The ‘Jesus Calling” devotional

offered the words,

“in quietness and in trust

shall be your strength”

from Isaiah 30:15.

Prompting the search for “quietness”.

Finding several Scriptures

with the word “quietness”

but only once

mentioned with the definition

from 1 Chronicles 22:9.

A masculine noun from

the very word of “Shalom”

or “peace”.

David is speaking

to his son Solomon.

Giving Solomon

the promise of God

for his life.

His kingdom would have peace

for 40 years.

“Behold, a son shall be born to you

who shall be a man of rest.

I will give him rest from

all his surroundings enemies.

For his name shall be Solomon,

and I will give peace

and quietness to Israel

in his days.” 1 Chronicles 22:9 (ESV)

Quietness – #8253 – shetqet

– tranquility – peace – rest.

The Hebrew letters spell:

Sheen – the smile to know

Koof – in the back of your head

Tet – the surrounding Peace of the Son Who loves you!

I chuckled, for reading on,

David tells his son, Solomon,

in verse 16 to

“Arise and work!”

The LORD be with you!”

May the LORD be with each of you today

as we “Arise and work!”

Knowing we are surrounded

by the Peace of our Prince

Jesus

for His Kingdom work!

JESUS CALLING

Devotional by Sarah Young

Quiet Love

“The LORD is my Shepherd, I have no lack.” Psalm 23:1

“I have no lack.”

Lord, I woke thinking again.

What about this?

How about that?

Do You think I can go there?

Do You want me to do that?

Questions running through my mind.

Glancing to the Scripture

on the bottom of

The journal page…

“He will quiet you with His love.” Zephaniah 3:17

Yes Lord, I desire You to “quiet me”.

“Quiet” in the original Hebrew text

is the word “Silent” – rest, speak not a word, be still, keep silence.

Silent – charash (khaw-rash) – Kaf, Reysh, Sheen

Jesus “opens” my “head” with His “smile”to know I am loved.

“He will quiet you, with His love.” Zephaniah 3:17

Resting here with my Shepherd.

Speaking not a word;

He quiets me,

With His loving smile,

Upon my head.

Truly,

In Jesus,

There is no lack.
