Valiant of Heart

In Honor of our military service men and women.

Valiant of Heart

“Remembering Memorial Day and the

Red, White and Blue.

Those who served, and

Continue to do.

The keepers of rank, the

Valiant of heart;

May we thank you for your service,

For in freedom our day starts.”

America – My Father’s Pride

My Father’s pride.

Oh, how he loved to serve by your side.

Fathers, Sons, and Daughters too,

Laid their lives down to fight for you.

If truth be told, they’d tell you so,

If called to arms, they’d willingly go.

The proud, the strong, integrity bound,

In serving you,

America was found.”

Beautiful View

“Out of the ashes,

We gathered despised.

Never again to believe the lies.

Blessed is the view our

Forefathers knew.

Strength and Victory

Belong only to You!”

“Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD.” Psalm 33:12

Let us not be divided.

For we are Americans!

Cast Your Vote American

“To Vote or not?” I can hear them say.

How can you not cast your vote today?

Our Forefathers laid their lives full down.

Cold and hungry Valley Forge found.

Fort McHenry and Francis Scott Key,

Star Spangled Banner his eyes did see.

Oh beautiful waves of grain,

The right to VOTE came with pain.

Whether the Vote is red or blue,

Step up and embrace her,

American’s died for you.”

Washington Rain

Washington Rain
Washington Rain

Rain continues here this morning at my house in the middle of the heartland. Thoughts of tomorrow and our Country fill my mind. I pray you are blessed with a re-post of a poem from a trip to Washington, D.C.

Washington Rain

“Washington in the rain;

I would not refrain,

nor be hesitant to do.

The City of White,

a magnificent sight;

she shows off her

red, white and blue.

The Monuments too,

reflecting their view,

are seen all around;

their the talk of the town!

Sunshine or rain,

the message the same;

May God bless you!”

Bayou Bill – Remembering Tropical Depression “Bill” – One Year Ago

Cow rescued.

Like many, my family and I ventured to the Bayou to see for ourselves the rising waters resulting from Tropical Depression “Bill”.

Instead of the depression surrounding this devastating weather event, we witness

American values, respect, and bravery.

Neighbors helping neighbors saving livestock, livelihoods and demonstrating who we are Americans.
