His Unfolding Joy

“When viewed from the perspective of Scripture, history is more than the recording of the events of the past. Rather, what has happened in the past, what is happening now, and what will happen in the future is all evidence of the unfolding of the purposeful plan devised by the personal God of the Bible.

“All circumstances of life – past, present, and future – fit into the sovereign plan of God like pieces of a puzzle.”

Quote by Robert Lightner, theologian, Dallas Theological Seminary

“Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by it’s horns.” Genesis 22:13 NKJV

Reading this verse, I have heard it taught, and believe, that “Isaac” and the “ram” are both pictures or shadows of Jesus Christ. (The Son and the sacrifice).

“…you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” Genesis 22:12 NKJV

“And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 NJKV

Reading further, my eyes landed on the words in verse 23 of the 24 verses in Genesis 22.

“And Bethuel begot Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.” Genesis 22:23 NJKV

STOP. “Lord, why would Holy Spirit choose to finish one of the most important chapter’s in Scripture, Abraham offering up his son Isaac, with telling us how many children Abraham’s brother Nahor had?”

“Look again.” I heard Him speak to me.

“Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked,”

Rebekah!” “LORD, Abraham saw Rebekah in the future! Isaac, his beloved son, married Rebekah, who bore Jacob, who bore the twelve sons, who bore David, who bore Jesus!”

Rebekah is the Bride!” The Bride! Abraham saw the Church, the Bride of Christ!”

This revelation changed everything for me. It deepened the significance of the love Christ has for us, His Church. Jesus saw us from the beginning. He, “lifted his eyes” and saw His Bride. The cross “behind him,” and His Bride in the future. We are in Chapter 22 of Genesis ❤️

The Bride, Jesus willingly offered up His life for His Bride.

“Looking into Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame…”Hebrews 12:2 NKJV

Jesus, yesterday, today and forevermore! “The sovereign plan of God. “

“I am by Beloved’s, and His desire is towards me.”Song of Solomon 7:10 NKJV

Revelation to See

“In the Valley of Vision I heard You speak to me. “Open the eyes of your spirit and there you will see.”

‘The burden against the Valley of Vision.” Isaiah 22:1 NKJV

The Passion Translation says it this way, “A prophecy concerning “The Valley of Vision”. What’s happening with you?” Isaiah 22:1 TPT

“What’s happening with you?”

I was definitely the Proverbial “deer in a headlight” when I read this sentence.

Lord, how can one see in a Valley? The question His Word posed, “What’s happening with you?” is one I have asked Him and myself for months now. What is happening with me?

Vision in the Strong’s Concordance is the number 2384. Chizzayown – it’s meaning is a dream or revelation. I knew God was trying to get my attention, and answer the question I’ve been pondering in my heart for months. “What’s happening to me?”

Revelation. Open up the eyes of my spirit. Put aside my flesh or the popular “how do you feel” and listen to what He is showing me.

I’ve been carrying a “burden” in my heart for almost a year. It’s time to reclaim my purpose and get on with His plans for me in life.

Revelation light. I’ve been grieving and it’s time to heal.

I picked up my camera for the first time in a very long time with vision to see. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 NKJV

I’m thankful for a Savior who in the Valley has never, no not ever, lost sight of me. I pray today if you have found yourself carrying a burden of heart to lay it down at the feet of the Cross of Jesus Christ for He will comfort you.  Allow His revelation light (His Word) guide you to His purpose for your life. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen🙏

Ready In White

“For where your treasure is,
There your heart will be also.”

This is a bit different for me, but as you read, I believe it will be a word of encouragement for each of us as we keep our eyes and heart set on Jesus Who loves us.  Love ya, Denise xoxox

“Sleeping sound throughout the night.

Dreaming a dream birthed in white.

Eyelet and threads of fine yard,

Woven in expectation of a new birth to be born.

Waking in peace as I remembered the plan.

At the end, I was rushing to pack,

For the plane would soon land.

Departure was imminent,

Its time was sure,

12:40 marked the numbers I saw on the door.

In peace and pleasantness I pondered these events.

“Lord, are You birthing something new in me, or is the message deeper sent?”

But as I lay in the folds of the breaking dawn,

My peace escaped me as the morning dove’s song.

Worry and anxiety replaced all birthed in me,

As I recalled the days of this now place in our current history.

Fighting back the fear of the doubts,

I grasped to recall the dream’s details shout.

“Departure at 12:40” but what was that all about?

So I searched the Scripture to see what I could see.

Psalm 12 has 8 verses, and David speaks it well.

“The wicked prowl on every side.”

So this verse could not tell.

Psalm 124 has 8 verses,

The Songs of Ascent.

David recalls the Lord’s faithfulness in their life’s events.

“Blessed be the LORD Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.”  Verse 6

Written in the margin,

Next to the teeth,

“They gnashed their teeth at Him.”

Spoke of my Jesus Who knows their deceit.

Thinking of the Man Who died for my sins.

Remembering He knows and has experienced the

Pain I’ve been in.

Fire ignited and I thought,

“Look in Luke!”

Maybe, the answer is found in his Book.

Well lo and behold, the verse spoke well clear.

Draw near my soul,

For I’ll write it down here.

“Therefore you also be ready,

For the Son of Man is coming

At an hour you do not expect.” Luke 12:40

One can’t get a better answer than that.

My Jesus is speaking directly to me.

“Do not have an anxious mind.” Luke 12:29

Nor a heart filled with anxiety.

“Do not fear, little flock,

For it is your Father’s good pleasure

To give you the Kingdom.” Luke 12:32

“For where your treasure is,

There your heart will be also.” Luke 12:34

“Let your waist be grided and

Your lamps burning.” Luke 12:35

For

“Blessed are the servants who the Master,

When He comes,

Will find watching.” Luke 12:37

For the Lord will surely come “quickly” Revelations 22:20

And make “All things new.” Isaiah 43:19

For continue to trust Me,

For I’m coming back for you.”

“I will come again,

And receive you to Myself;

That where I AM,

There you may be also.”

John 14:3

I AM the Light – Come See

“I Am the Light of the World. He who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12 NKJV

“The Word forms,

My eyes see.

Sparkling in Your Beauty

Your Peace enlightens me.”

“One thing I know; that though I was blind, now I see.” John 9:25 NKJV

Final Days of Hanukkah – A Light has Shined

“By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,

In Galilee of the Gentiles.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;

Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,

Upon them a Light has shined.” Isaiah 9:2 NKJV

Hanukkah – Day One – Shine the Light!

Today begins the lighting of the first of nine candles celebrating Hanukkah.

Thinking on how this applies to my life as a Christian it occured to me the miracle of the light that shines in me because of the Holy Spirit (the oil) I can partake of Hanukkah in the spiritual by sharing the Light.

A word of encouragement to a co-worker who has lost hope in their situation. A prayer with a friend fighting a battle of sickness. A kind word of caring to a neighbor who is experiencing their first Christmas after the loss of a spouse or a child.

Surely in prayer and asking, the Father will light a new candle every day and cause His light to shine in darkness.

Celebrating and lighting the first candle of Hanukkah – Day One.

“Let your light so shine…and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 NKJV

We have come to

Movement of Tent

“To move our tents

Beneath the “terebinth’ tree,

To live in the land

You have given to me.

Separate myself from the

World of “Lot” and flesh.

Looking forever upward;

For in You

Is my dwelling and the rest.”

“And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him,

“Lift your eye now and look from the place where you are –

Northward, southward,

Eastward, and westward,

For all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever…

Arise and walk through the land its

Length and width for I give it to you.

Then Abram moved his tent, and went and dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre.”

Genesis 13:14-18 NKJV
