The Lord opened my eyes to see the beauty of His Son Jesus while reading Daniel Chapter 10.
I has occurred to me, I have never explained each of the Hebrew letters and their word pictures. With that said, here goes, Jesus revealed in Daniel 10.
“In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a word was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar. And the word was true, and it was a great conflict. And he understood the word and had understanding of the vision. Daniel 10: Verse 1.
Daniel is beginning to tell his story of the revelation of the power of God and Jesus.
Word Picture: Ox or Bull
Meaning: Strength, leader, first power, sacrifice
Can you see the horns of the Ox? Jesus is the strength, power of God. He is the picture of the Ox or Bull sacrifice.
“…like a lamb or an ox that is brought to slaughter…” Jeremiah 11:19 KJV
