Morning Tide

“Clear stars

Fill the predawn skies.

Soon disappearing into

The morning tide.

Flood of light set

Posed to come;

Proclaiming in brilliance

‘Peace on earth’

His new day has begun!”

“You make the outgoings of the

Morning and the evening rejoice!”

Psalm 65:8 NKJV

“This is the day that

LORD has made;

We will rejoice and

Be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24 NKJV

All That Moves In The Field

We had several visitors today.

Some close up, and

Others,

We’re glad to say,

Stayed a distance away!

Sweet doe – she is one of three babies by one Momma deer who visits us daily.

Time to go…Mom and sisters moving on.

Coyote, oh no!

First freeze last night brought him far too close looking for lunch.

Firecracker sent him off with a fair warning…too close for our comfort.

Skunk! If he sprays, we’re sunk!!

I have laundry hanging in the beautiful afternoon sun!!

Ok, he just wanted a drink and then went on his way.

Running deer, keen to hear.

Abby started barking and stirred this late afternoon deer up!

This deer and doe are a bit taller and older than our regular morning Momma and triplets. Fast too!!

Sunset true, distant view.

Time to put a close to the day.

Good night my WordPress friends and neighbors!

Denise

“For every beast of the forest is Mine,

The cattle on a thousand hills.

I know all the birds of the hills,

And all that moves in the field is Mine.”

Psalm 50:10-11 ESV

Beginning of Grace

“I will stand at my guard post and

Station myself on the

Lookout tower.

I will

Watch and

See what

He will say to me.”

Habakkuk 2:1 NKJV

‘Returning me

To the beginning

Of my season

Of learning about

His Son’s marvelous

Grace.

Instead of my punishment,

Jesus took my place.’

Kingdom Bride

“Whenever I get a hint of “blue”,

My thoughts turn towards upward

To what You’re goanna do.

Excitement rises up from deep inside,

And “the blues” are vanquished from

Your Kingdom Bride.”

“…for He has covered me with the robe of righteousness…and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10

“And as the Bridegroom rejoices

Over the bride,

So shall your God

Rejoice over you.”

Isaiah 62:5 (NKJV)

“The LORD your God

Is in your midst…

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17(NKJV)

Trusting View

“Often times the words

Flow freely from the pencil lead.

Speaking of Your promises;

Void of fear and dread.

But then there is no

“Picture” or

Clear “Visual” to share;

Remaining on the paper

Concealed forever there.

But isn’t this the same

Of what You’ve called our lives to do?

Walking by Your Faithfulness,

Trusting in Your View.”

“For we walk by faith,

Not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

A Pilgrims Journey – Part II

“Oh, the glory of what’s in store;

Crayola’s many colors

Beyond the open door.

The green of Galilee’s hillsides.

The orange of the sun.

The stillness of the water.

The brown of En Gedi’s run.

The aqua of salt shores,

Dead Sea

Masada’s red cliffs to soar.

The midnight of the City.

Mount Scopes and its view

Open the eyes of wonder,

Beholding only You!

October 18th…three months and counting before the group and I begin our 2018 pilgrimage! Looking forward to what lies ahead.

“It is good to give thanks to the LORD,

And to sing praises to Your Name,

O Most High;

To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,

And Your faithfulness every night.”

I DON’T WANT TO BE LIKE MARTHA ANYMORE

Sweet Sharing Saturday…praying you will be abundantly blessed with a post by “Welcome to Poetry Cottage”. Blessings for a sweet Saturday to share!

Welcome to Poetry Cottage

Praying Girl

Chorus
I don’t want to be like Martha
Anymore, anymore, anymore
I don’t want to be like Martha
Captive to every fear and chore
I just want to be like Mary
At Jesus’ feet upon the floor
I just want to be like Mary
And listen at heaven’s healing door

Draw me to Thy voice
Draw me to Thy word
Draw me to the sweetest thing
These ears have ever heard

Close my eyes to see
Close my mouth to speak
Close every door open
Strengthen all that is weak

Chorus
I don’t want to be like Martha
Anymore, anymore, anymore
I don’t want to be like Martha
Captive to every fear and chore
I just want to be like Mary
At Jesus’ feet upon the floor
I just want to be like Mary
And listen at heaven’s healing door

Only in You is peace
Only in You is joy

Think Myself Happy!

“I think myself happy,

That’s what I do.

Keeping my eyes upward;

Focused on You!”

“I think myself happy, King Agrippa…”Acts 26:2 NKJV

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal

But mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

Casting down arguments and

Every high thing that exalts itself against the

Knowledge of God,

Bringing every thought into captivity

To the obedience of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV

Fragrance Laced

‘Take me back to the simplicity of faith.

Breakfast fire;

Fragrance laced.

Quicken my mind to know it is You;

For your Love is deep and

Your Words are true.’

“Then, as soon as they had come to land,

They saw a fire of coals there,

And fish laid on it, and bread…

Jesus said to them

“Come and eat breakfast.”

John 21:9 & 12 NKJV

“And when he had received meat, he was strengthen.” Acts 9:19 KJV
