Fellowship Joined

“Sunday morning;

A beautiful day.

Refresh our house with

Your Presence today.

Guide our hearts and feet along;

Fellowship joined in

Praise and worship songs!”

“It is good to give thanks to the LORD,

And to sing praises to Your Name,

O Most High;

To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,

And Your faithfulness every night.”

Psalm 92:1-2 (NKJV)

In Stillness

“There’s no comfort in this world.

No place to lay one’s head.

Foxes surround the vineyard;

Confusion stirs up dread.

But Peace resides in stillness,

Waiting to speak to me.

Open up the Word

‘Be still’ and ‘Follow Me.’”

“O my Dove, in the cleft of the Rock,

In the secret places of the cliff.

Let me see Your Face,

Let me hear Your Voice,

For Your Voice is sweet,

And Your Face is Lovely.”

Song of Solomon 2:14 (NKJV)

“Be still, and know

I AM God.” Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

Place of Time

“Thank you for this Peace of time.

Not my will, but Yours divine.

Guide my hands and bless my bowl;

Open my eyes as Your treasures unfold.

Cause my heart to step in Thine,

For I long to hear Your voice in this place of time.”

“…and after the fire a still small voice.” 1 Kings 19:12 (NKJV)

Be Still in Time

Lord,

You know my flesh and read my mind.

Help me to fall into Your arms,

Instead of the grip of time.”

“Be still, and know that I AM God.” Psalm 46:10 NKJV

“LORD, You have searched me and known me…

You understand my thought afar off…

And are acquainted with all my ways.” Psalm 139:1-3 NKJV

“But one thing is needed, and Mary

Has chosen that good part,

Which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 NKJV

Threads of Pray

“Jesus Christ my Faithful Friend.

You stick with me when I’m at my end.

Working behind the veil of time,

Moving the circumstances entwined with mine.

Bringing together for my good;

Situations and happenings I’ve not understood.

Weaving the colors day by day,

As we spend time together with threads of pray.”

“I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,

Plans for wholeness and not for evil,

To give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me,

And I will hear you.

You will seek Me with all your heart.

I will be found by you, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 29:11-14

Holds of Grace

“The very thing that holds you in place,

He finished in Love by His Saving Grace.”

“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul,

A hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain,

Where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf…” Hebrews 6:19 (ESV)

Sunrise on the Sea of Galilee – Israel Journey 2011

Opened Heaven’s Door

“A friend loves at all times.” Proverbs 17:17

Miss Cheryl and I never exchanged a harsh word between us.

Oh yes, she would “line” me out a time or two,

“Now, Miss Denise”,

But never in anger or a cruel word on her tongue;

Always with kindness and love.

I will miss you greatly my friend. From my heart to yours,

Opened Heaven’s Door

“She felt deeply for her students, and

Considered each her “dear”.

Listening to their stories;

Counseling them with her ear;

Open to their heartaches,

As she gathered each one near.

But Heaven gained a Daughter,

Faithful to the Son.

I know she heard Him say to her,

“Well done My faithful servant, your job on earth is done.”

Oh, the Joy ahead, and the Peace to Hope for more.

When Jesus called her to Himself, and

Opened heaven’s door.”

In memory and honor of my friend and co-worker during our “season’ of Elementary school together.

Peace of the Son

“Yesterday was hard.

I was looking back with my heart.

But a new day’s begun;

Keeping my eyes on

The Son.”

“Peace, I leave with you,

My Peace I give to you;

Not as the world gives do I give to you.

Let not your heart be troubled.” John 14:27 (NKJV)

“…and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,

Will guard your heart and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 (NKJV)

He Prays for Us – Capernaum Part Ten

“And when He had sent the multitudes away,

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.” Matthew 14:23 NKJV

 Mount Arbel is believed to be the location where Jesus would have gone to pray for it is walking distance from the Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee, and its vantage point of more than 1000 feet over-looking the Lake.

“Now when evening came,

The boat was in the middle of the sea;

And He was alone on the land.” Mark 6:47 NKJV

“Then He saw them straining at rowing,

For the wind was against them.” Mark 6:48 NKJV

“Now about the fourth watch of the night,

He came to them…” Mark 6:49 NKJV

Right when we think no one cares, all hope is lost,

“He came to them, walking on the sea…” Mark 6:49 NKJV

Jesus prays for us.

Sees us in our “rowing” state of mind;

And when the “winds” are blowing hard against us,

Jesus – right on time.

“…since He always lives to make intercession for (us).” Hebrews 7:25 NKJV

In the Beginning…

“My spirit stirred,

In the beginning.

My heart was ignited,

In the beginning.

What was old is gone,

In the beginning.

New Life and Light Provided

As we begin together,

In the beginning.”

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2 NKJV

Intercession’s Gate

Prayer garden in the Garden of Gethsemane.

“Words are prayers

Sent forth in faith.

Shepherd waiting at

Intercession’s Gate.

Hearing utterances

Of those You know;

Moving powerfully to bestow.

Peace,

Healing,

Action wide.

Intercession,

Your Holy Stride!”

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost

Those who come to God through Him,

Since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Hebrews 7:25 NKJV

“I AM the Door…I have come that they may have life,

And that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV
