Fragrance Laced

‘Take me back to the simplicity of faith.

Breakfast fire;

Fragrance laced.

Quicken my mind to know it is You;

For your Love is deep and

Your Words are true.’

“Then, as soon as they had come to land,

They saw a fire of coals there,

And fish laid on it, and bread…

Jesus said to them

“Come and eat breakfast.”

John 21:9 & 12 NKJV

“And when he had received meat, he was strengthen.” Acts 9:19 KJV

Dancing Dawn

“Open up the day;

Bring the sun along.

For sorrow tarries in the shadows;

Rejoice, Oh dancing dawn!”

“Sing praises to the LORD, O you His saints,

And give thanks to His Holy Name…

Weeping may tarry for the night,

But joy comes with the morning.”

Psalm 30:4-5 (ESV)

Place of Time

“Thank you for this Peace of time.

Not my will, but Yours divine.

Guide my hands and bless my bowl;

Open my eyes as Your treasures unfold.

Cause my heart to step in Thine,

For I long to hear Your voice in this place of time.”

“…and after the fire a still small voice.” 1 Kings 19:12 (NKJV)

Morning Dew Breezes

“It shall be in that day,

‘The tongue’ shall ‘sing’!

Open up the flood gates

For the dry lands shall burst forth in spring!

Flowers shall bloom,

Plans arise!

Purpose will take root, and

Prosper before your eyes!

Sing, oh daughters of Jerusalem,

“Do not stir up love until it pleases…”

Open your mouth wide

For singing begins on morning dew breezes.”

“I charge you,

O daughters of Jerusalem,

By the gazelles or the does of the field,

Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases.”

Song of Solomon 2:7 NKJV

“Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,

O daughters of Jerusalem!”

Zephaniah 3:14 NKJV

Open Heart

“Doors wide open;

Summer breathing still.

Open up my heart Lord;

I long to hear Your will.”

“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 (NKJV)

Days of Sand

LORD, You know the plan.

Before the beginning of time,

You destine the days of sand.

Running through the hour glass;

Minutes count away.

Someone in school needs a word today.

Bind all harden hearts, and

Let the tears flow down.

Open up their ears to hear;

Calm the “lost” and “found”.

Draw each child to Your Presence;

For we rest in Your work this day.

A Mighty move from heaven,

Holy Spirit have Your way.”

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Praises Unfold

“Thank You Father for this day.

Open my heart to hear what You would say.

Glide the pencil in time with rhyme.

“Praises” unfold with each stitch of time.”

Praise is awaiting You…

You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice…

And the little hills rejoice on every side.

The pastures are clothed in flocks;

They shout for joy, they also sing.”

Psalm 65:1, 8, and 12 (NKJV)

Be Still in Time

Lord,

You know my flesh and read my mind.

Help me to fall into Your arms,

Instead of the grip of time.”

“LORD, You have searched me and known me…

You understand my thought afar off…

And are acquainted with all my ways.” Psalm 139:1-3 NKJV

Has chosen that good part,

Which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 NKJV

Tears of Rain

“Lord, walk on water,

As only You can do.

Comfort those who’ve lost their way;

Guide them safely through.

Stretch out Your hand;

The One who knows their pain.

Losing all they have,

Dry their tears of rain.”

“And in the fourth watch of the night

He came to them,

Walking on the sea.

Take heart; it is I.

Do not be afraid.”

Matthew 14:25-27 (ESV)

Continued prayers for those in the midst of this storm.

Words of Love

“Up and off to Church today.

Bring the Word,

Oh Lord, we pray.

Pour upon the listening hearts,

Your Words of Love right from the start.”

“So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,

To see Your power and Your glory.

Because Your Lovingkindness is better than life,

My lips shall praise You.

Thus I will bless You while I live;

I will lift up my hands in Your name…

And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.”

Psalm 63:2-5 (NKJV)

Peace of the Son

“Yesterday was hard.

I was looking back with my heart.

But a new day’s begun;

Keeping my eyes on

The Son.”

“Peace, I leave with you,

My Peace I give to you;

Not as the world gives do I give to you.

Let not your heart be troubled.” John 14:27 (NKJV)

“…and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,

Will guard your heart and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 (NKJV)
