The Lord brought me to this Scripture this morning.
Last night as I tried to pray for our Country,
Joining in with the prayers of those going before us,
I couldn’t think of how to pray according to His Word.
This morning going out in zero degrees temperatures to feed the birds and take a picture or two, He showed me Psalm 33 and how to pray while I warmed up with a hot cup of coffee snuggled in His Word.
Appealing to Heaven according to His Faithful Word.
“I have set watchmen on your walls…
They shall never hold their peace day and night.
You who make mention of the LORD,
Do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes…” Isaiah 62:6 NKJV
Remembering and honoring all those who fought and continue to fight for our Freedom.
Zero degree morning.
Thankful for the morning sunshine.
Have a blessed day,
“You and me, Lord,
Meeting in the morn.
Battle through the night,
Choking hands of scorn.
Steadfast in Your Love;
No thoughts of abandonment.
Your Holy Spirit strong;
Removed the fear and stench.
Waking in Your Presence,
Curling up with You.
No need of internet;
You and me will do.”
“His massive arms are wrapped around you,
You can run under His covering of Majesty and hide.
His arms of faithfulness are Shield
Keeping you from harm.”

“Sunrise on the crest,
Darkness put to rest.
Wake the morning,
Stir the nest,
The day stretches forth dawning.”
“But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.” 1Thesalonians 5:8

Reservations cancelled and scheduled for another time and season.
In the midst of this storm we ride out together there is hope in our future.
“Today I thought Your plan involved a wedding in Virginia.
Family gathered, hugs and kisses, future commitment.
Instead You’ve revealed Yourself so clear.
“Draw into My Presence”
For I Am Your shelter, joy, and wedding feast,
“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD,
My soul shall be joyful in my God.
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
So, the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth
Before all the nations.”
Isaiah 61:10-11 NKJV

“Comfort those who mourn.
Compassion on the ill.
Mercy according to Your Loving kindness,
Until Your plans fulfilled.”

“Cats at the window
Bird’s in view.
Sunshine on the feeder,
Coffee in the brew.
Oh, I’ve enjoyed the season; rest and family time.
Open up the year LORD,
Direct my steps according to Thine.”

“Waiting on daylight, morning’s break of day. Calling all creation, Rejoice! Praise His Holy Name!
Heavens declare Your beauty, the Tabernacle of the Son. Come Oh Holy Spirit, let Your will on Earth be done.”
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork…In them He set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber.” Psalm 19:1 & 4 NJKV

“Sometimes you have to do things different.
A walk before talk.
A dream before seen.
A harvest a bit early, but never too late.
A thought at the gate;
The future awaits!
Sometimes you have to do things different; causing your heart to anticipate!”

Morning Devotional time sent from my phone.
“For you are the aperture of My eye.”
Anticipation in all Your plans;
Confident all is well.
For by Your Blood I stand and tell,
“Do not be afraid, be of strong courage!”
For I AM with you always.
Do not be dismayed or discouraged,
For I Will fight your battles at hand.
For I AM God, and not mere man.
Keep your eyes focused true,
For you are the aperture of My eye, and I do not, ever, no ever, move My sight or heart from you.”
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.” Isaiah 43:1-2
Morning prayer and devotional from my phone.
Blessings to you for your day,
“Share my coffee with me Lord.
Let me curl up under Your
Blanket of joy.
Dig in deep beneath Your
Folds of peace;
Beginning this day with the
Words You Speak.”

Says, the Lord,
Thoughts of peace and not evil,
To give you a future and a hope.”
