Strength Us

Good morning LORD,

El Ohiym, Adonai.

You never change, or ever lie.

Bring forth Your justice as the rising sun.

Our world is shaking, rocking, for each and every one.

Cause the evil hearts of men to turn to love instead;

For peace is found in freedom and not in fear and dread.

Lifting up those hurting, sick and displaced.

In Your care Lord, we place them for You alone are

The Creator of the whole human race.

Come Lord Jesus! We wait on You.

Strengthen us as You tarry,

For we place our trust in You.

“For my soul trust in You;

And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge,

Until these calamities have passed by.”

Psalm 57:1 NKJV

Notes Ring

“Windchimes remind me the

South breeze blows.

Notes ring the air,

“Only He knows.”

Changing is coming,

Sure as the breeze.

It may not have happened yesterday,

But according to Your Word Lord, please.”

“God is a just Judge,

And God is angry with the wicked every day.

If He does not turn back,

He will sharpen His sword;

He bends His bow and makes it ready.”

Psalm 7:11&12 NKJV

“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,

Being predestined according to the purpose of Him

Who works all things according to the

Counsel of His will…”

Ephesians 1:11 NKJV

“…and proclaim liberty throughout all the land

To all its inhabitants…” Leviticus 25:10 NKJV

Amen!

Awaken the Sun!

“Magnificent morning sunrise!

In peace we say, “Goodbye.”

2021 you’ve been filled with numerous challenges,

And tears shed by many people’s eyes.

It’s not your fault you were numbered “2021,”

For you’ve been faithful each day to come.

But, who knows if in God’s time,

You were called to awaken all people

To His Son.”

“The sun shall no longer be your light by day,

Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;

But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light,

And your God your glory.

Your sun shall no longer go down,

Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;

For the LORD will be your everlasting light,

And the days of your mourning shall be ended.”

Isaiah 60:19-20 NKJV

Thank you fellow bloggers for stopping by and your encouragement throughout the year.

A Good Expectation

“Thank You Lord, for this day.

No expectations, only play.

Snoring dog on pillow resides;

Christmas tree in hope reminds.

This year has nearly come to close,

But here at Your feet,

 A confident expectation of Your good

In the coming new year glows.”

“Out of Zion, the Perfection of Beauty,

God will shine forth.

Psalm 50:2 NKJV

Enjoying the last days of 2021.

Blessings to you and your household from Abby and me.

Peaceful Heart

“Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness;

Yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Let me not borrow pain;

Nor be another’s sorrow.

Thank You for reminding me,

Even when I sleep,

You’re looking out for all my ways,

And in Your health You’ll keep.

Fix my eyes on Your plans;

Peaceful heart and stable land.

Assured You speak the best to me,

For in Christ Jesus,

I’m truly free!”

“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You;

Because he trust in You.”

Isaiah 26:3 NKJV

Home healing from the change of seasons winds.

May you and your household be in perfect peace, and health today.

Thankful Goodness

“My heart is filled with wonder, a good and pleasant theme.

Thanksgiving to my Savior, Who never, no, not once, forgot or abandoned me.

Thankful for His goodness, drawing me each day.

His beauty seen in nature; for He is the only way.

Sunrises on the morning,

Light in rainy days,

Protection when darkness hovers,

Correction when I’ve lost my way.

I’m thankful for Your Presence,

Immanuel with me.

For in Your Peace and Kindness,

My heart sings out to Thee!”

I will worship You, Yahweh, with extended hands as my heart erupts with praise!

I will tell everyone everywhere about Your wonderful works!

I will be glad and shout in triumph.

I will sing praise to Your exalted name, O Most High.”

Psalm 9:1&2 The Passion Translation

My family and I are celebrating Thanksgiving today as it is my son’s day off from work.

Blessings to you and your family as we embrace this week of Thanksgiving!

Not Afraid

Good morning Lord,

Thank You for this day.

You set it all in place; You planned it this way.

Glorify Your Son. Let the people call upon His Name!

For in Christ Jesus, we are redeemed and forever changed!

“I am Yahweh, Your Mighty God!

I grip your right hand and won’t let you go!

I whisper to you; ‘Don’t be afraid, I am here to help you!”

Isaiah 41:13 The Passion Translation

Stepping into a new day, and week holding on to the One who reminds me, “Do not be Afraid.”

Blessings,

Denise

Pencil and Prayer

“Good morning Lord. Now that I’m here how do I separate writing and prayer?

Both are written on my heart, but where does the line begin and the prayer start?

Search me, O Lord, and find me new. For I bring this pencil and paper in dedication to You.”

Dedication – Strong’s Hebrew #2598 – chanukah. It was used to show something was officially in service.

“Oh LORD, You have searched me and know me. You know my rising up; You understand my thoughts from afar off…and are acquainted with all my ways ” Psalm 139:1:2 NKJV

“You know everything I’m going to say before I start the first sentence.” Psalm 139:4 The Message

You know every step I take before my journey begins. You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness You follow behind me.” Psalm 139:5 The Passion Translation

May you be blessed to know the kindness of the Lord Who prepares the day ahead and hears the dedications written in our hearts.

Blessings, denise

My Own Small Way

“Show me your garden and I shall tell you what you are.” Alfred Austin

I decided this summer,

As I watched my Flag wave,

I’d save which was once lost,

In my own small way.

With renewed hope and delight,

Plans were laid out,

As I dreamed through the night.

In the cool of the morning,

My work would begin,

Planting and digging were gardens had been.

With the sweat of my brow on 90 degree days,

I’d press through the heat wiping my face.

The moisture of salt mixed with my tears,

Remembering the former beauty of my garden’s earlier years.

“Tears are the summer showers to the soul.” Alfred Austin

Day after day,

Going back out at first light.

I’d press to restore her,

It only seem right.

In her kindness and sweet morning refrain,

She draws me to her moist soil,

As my Flag bravely waves.

“And now, Lord,

what do I wait for?

My hope is in You.”

Psalm 39:7 NKJV

Alfred Austin was an English Poet Laureate in 1896.

Born May 30, 1835-Died June 2, 1913.
